Our program is fully licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). Gan Aliyah Preschool meets or exceeds all standards set by EEC.
Gan Aliyah Preschool is committed to providing a warm, nurturing, enriching and safe environment for toddlers and preschoolers. The curriculum at Gan Aliyah Preschool is rooted in the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World), Derech Eretz (Treating Others Respectfully) and Hachnasat Orchim (Creating a Warm and Welcoming Community).
Our program is based on our belief that each child is a unique individual who develops at his or her own pace. Learning at Gan Aliyah Preschool is child-initiated, child-directed and teacher supported. Our nurturing environment fosters each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual development. We believe it is the partnership between educators and parents that provides an atmosphere where families and children can grow and learn within a supportive Jewish community.

Gan Aliyah Preschool is in session from early September through mid-June. We are closed for all Needham Public Schools and Jewish Holidays.
Our integrated curriculum brings together creative play, music and art, Shabbat and holiday celebrations, language, literacy, math and science, all grounded in Jewish values. Play allows the child to develop a positive sense of self and others, to grow as a curious learner, and to successfully negotiate the world around them. We use the Massachusetts Department of Education Frameworks and Standards for Curriculum as the base of our secular curriculum. Our fully integrated Judaic curriculum revolves around the holidays we celebrate together throughout the school year.
